VCA Plymouth Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is hiring a full time Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are a 5-doctor full service veterinary hospital open 6 days a week offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Plymouth, MA.  VCA Plymouth is also a Pet Resort that provides boarding in a facility with overnight accommodations available for dogs and cats. Additionally we provide a wide assortment of pet food options, making us a true full service veterinary hospital.

Compensation: $25 - $32 / hr (CVT) based on skill set, experience, and licensure status. VA ($21 - $26 / hr)

What You'll Do

Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

Veterinary Technician Duties Include

• Physical examinations,  patient assessment, and recovery
• Procedural anesthesia and monitoring
• IV fluid administration and CRI calculations
• Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Client communications and discharge
