Experience: Minimum of 2 years management experience. Previous experience with animals a plus. Associate Certification in supervisory PAA, ACT, CSR, LCSR, Groom Tech. Physical: Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds. Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day. Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently. Must be able to work on computer system and work on a multi-line telephone. Must be able to handle dogs on leashes. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions. Personal: Ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally. Ability to supervise, motivate and counsel employees. Must have strong communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess a love of animals.
