Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our multidisciplinary surgical team at our Level II Trauma Center in Pocatello, Idaho.  This opportunity will provide perioperative care and first-assist support for a variety of surgical specialties, contributing to high-quality patient care in both elective and emergent settingsAbout Your Work:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Serve as first or second assist on surgical cases for variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, bariatric and other subspecialties as needed</li> <li>Perform intraoperative technical skills such as suturing, wound closure and tissue handling</li> <li>Participate in surgical rounding, documenting and communicating with patient progress</li> <li>Work closely with surgeons, residents, nursing staff, anesthesiologists and other team members</li> <li>Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols</li> <li>Excellent support staff</li> <li>Epic EMR</li></ul>Requirements: minimum2 years’ surgical experience requiredRecruitment Package may include: <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Base Salary </li> <li>Sign On Incentive</li> <li>CME Allowance</li> <li>Malpractice Insurance</li></ul> About Portneuf Medical Center: In a joint venture partnership with the Portneuf Health Trust, Ardent operates Portneuf Medical Center located in Pocatello, ID.
