Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring a variety of medical conditions. This role plays an essential part in providing exceptional patient care through accurate imaging, professionalism, and compassionate communication.

You’ll work with advanced imaging technology while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their experience.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures safely and accurately for patients of all ages
• Prepare and educate patients prior to exams to reduce anxiety and ensure quality imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment efficiently and safely
• Review patient histories and clinical information to support accurate examinations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and imaging records
• Support quality control, room preparation, and department organization
• Stay current with imaging technology and continuing education requirements

Cross-training opportunities in additional imaging modalities may also be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Additional ultrasound-specific training required
• ARRT certification required
• ARDMS certification (or registry eligible) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of ultrasound experience preferred
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
