Chef De Cuisine Â
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Chef De Cuisine. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, develop and mentor culinary team members, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary leader with strong organizational skills, a commitment to culinary excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
 Â
- Execute a menu that has been designed for you by Kalahari corporate.Â
- Overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring cleanliness, consistency, and efficiency. Â
- Leading, training, and mentoring culinary staff, from prep cooks to sous chefs.Â
- Managing food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.Â
- Executing memorable tableside presentations like Prime Rib Carving and Baked Alaska.Â
- Collaborating with leadership to ensure a seamless front-and-back-of-house experience.Â

What We’re Looking ForÂ
 Â
- At least 5 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or resort setting. Â
- Broad knowledge of a variety of cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary styles.Â
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Â
- Experience in cost control, purchasing, and kitchen labor management.Â
- Strong communication and leadership skills, and a genuine joy for creating exceptional guest experiences.Â
