Restaurant Service Staff

This includes a Busser or Food Runner position.
Â
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Service Staff. As a Busser, you will work closely with the front of house team to ensure that tables are cleaned/sanitized quickly, communicating that the table is ready for use again. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests in an accurate and quick manner.

Hourly wages do vary but both will include tips.
Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Oversee daily operations of delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests in an accurate and quick manner
- Answer questions about food, beverage, restaurant functions, services, and resort services and activities Â
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to their needs and requestsÂ
- Take dirty tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in the appropriate areas for washing Â
- Communicate with server and hostess/host to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service
- Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave and between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletops

What We’re Looking ForÂ
- General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred Â
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others. Â
- Must be able to frequently communicate and develop rapport with guests and associates and have a working relationship with the resort management teamÂ
