Rivers Health is seeking a Monitor Tech to Monitors telemetries, mounts telemetry strips.  Provides immediate attention to any change in the monitor pattern and notifies the

nurse on staff. Performs secretarial and clerical duties in the Intensive Care Unit, in addition to ordering type duties.  Contributes to the cleanliness of the unit

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:

 

BCLS required. Must meet unit proficiency standards.  High school graduate or equivalent required.  On the job orientation program. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and basic computer skills.  Must pass an arrhythmia exam (90%) prior to start.

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

 

High school diploma or equivalent.
