Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA (Bucks County) is seeking an organized and enthusiatic Program Specialist for Full Time! We are currently seeking a Program Specialist to be responsible to assist in planning, organizing, and developing IHP/ISP in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Program Specialist Shift Options (7.5-hour shifts):

 

  • Open to discuss, options are 7:00am-3:00pm, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Program Specialist Status Defined:

 

  • Full-time: 5 - 7.5  hour shifts per week - Benefit eligible

Responsibilities

Day-to-Day tasks for Program Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide hands on activities to residents, individual and group, according to activities calendar
  • Assist staff in ensuring safety of ambulatory/mobile residents by offering activities
  • Work with interdisciplinary team to identify behavioral /health and safety concerns
  • Assist in developing Health and Safety/ Behavior Support Plans
  • Responsible for compiling information for monthly and quarterly documentation
  • Learn the IHP/ISP Timeline over the course of 6 to 12 months
  • Develop and train staff on behavioral/health and safety plans

  • Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities)
  • Experience working in a long term care or hospital setting
  • Experience with pediatric population
  • Must be 21 years or older
