Registered Nurse - Inpatient ER/Tele/ICU

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking experienced Inpatient Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract assignment at Hopi Health Care Center. This is an excellent opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a mission-driven environment.

Start Date: Aug/Sept

Schedule: Full-time | Day & Night Shifts Available

Hours: 36–48 hours per week (12-hour shifts)

Contract Length: Minimum 6 months | Up to 1 year with additional extension options available

What You'll Do

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to patients of all ages.
• ER, ICU, or Telemetry experience needed
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and prescribed treatments.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care while following established clinical policies and procedures.

Additional Details

• Fully onsite role
• Inpatient hospital setting serving patients of all ages
• Credentialing process may take up to 90 days
• Previous IHS experience preferred
• Previous Travel experience helpful
• 2 years of experience required

Requirements

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN required) 
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience 
• Minimum of 1- 2 years of recent ER/Tele/Acute Care inpatient care experience
• Must be experienced with all ages
• Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States
• Must be able to pass a federal security clearance

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state accepted)
• Current BLS & PALS certification required 
• ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Previous IHS experience a plus
• Experience with EHR systems required
• Required immunizations must be up to date
