Job DetailsJob Location: Administration - POLSON, MT 59860Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School or GEDJob Shift: SwingJob Category: Direct Support ProfessionalPosition: Group Home Assistant Lead Reports To: Group Home Manager & Residential Services Director Locations: Ronan, MT, Polson, MT Classification: Full-time (40 hours/week), with occasional overtime as needed Pay: $18.50 – $19.50 per hour Position Summary The Group Home Assistant Lead supports individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities living in a group home setting. This role includes assisting with medical and behavioral health needs, teaching daily living and social skills, and providing personal care. The Assistant Lead also helps clients engage in community activities, such as medical appointments, shopping, and recreational outings. In addition, this position assists the Group Home Manager with supervisory duties, scheduling, documentation, and overall oversight of the group home. Key Responsibilities Maintain reliable attendance and ensure client safety and well-being. Support clients with health appointments, daily living skills, and mobility needs. Ensure compliance with MME’s policies, procedures, and client protocols. Assisted in training staff and ensuring they were familiar with each client’s Person-Centered Support Plan (PSP). Support the Group Home Manager with staff supervision, documentation, safety drills, disciplinary actions, and group home budgeting. Provide management oversight in the absence of the Group Home Manager. Maintain accurate notes, records, and documentation using MME’s software systems. Attend required meetings and training sessions.
