Setting: inpatient obstetric care within a rural care site.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in the LDRP unit
- Circulate for C-section procedures and assist with sterile technique and perioperative care
- Perform sterile vaginal exams, monitor labor progress, and triage obstetric patients
- Monitor maternal and newborn status; provide newborn care, stabilization, and parental education (including breastfeeding support)
- Utilize wireless fetal monitoring and the JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management; document in Epic; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed
- Float within the unit per facility needs and participate in on-call coverage as defined (not required; possible 30-minute callback up to once per pay period)
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana or a Compact license; valid at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC*, Stable* (as listed)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Experience in Labor & Delivery / LDRP; ability to float within unit needs
- Must provide 2 supervisory references (covering 1 year) within the last 3 years
- RTO (time off) must be declared at submittal
