NURSE ASSISTANT - CERTIFIED

Acute/ER/Swing Bed

Join our staff of caring professionals providing aide and assistance to Hospital and ER patients.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintains performance at level of certification, basic, intermediate, advanced or expert
• Responds to signal lights/bells to determine patients' needs
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses patients
• Serves and collects food trays and assists patients who require help
• Assists residents with ambulation
• Toilets patients, assists to toilet or changes patients soiled undergarment
• Changes bed linens
• Responsible to record intake and output and to record tray monitors
• Oral and dental care
• Follow established Restorative Program and document results
• Places resident/patient wishes and supports their choices concerning mealtimes, bed/wake up times, clothing choices, etc.
  

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program

Experience:

• Previous experience in the health field desired.

Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Nursing Assistant - Certification with the Washington State Department of Health

Physical Requirements:

• Safely lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently
• Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, and/or crawling
