The Staff Pad is partnering with a mission-driven community health organization to hire a Family Medicine Physician in Pomona, California. This is an opportunity to join a respected organization dedicated to serving patients through high-quality, preventative, and primary care services.

This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about whole-person care, chronic disease management, and building long-term patient relationships within a patient-centered medical model.

Overview
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services across the age continuum in a family medicine setting
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform patient assessments including medical history, physical exams, and care planning
  • Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, therapies, and immunizations
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care
  • Support preventative care initiatives and chronic disease management
  • Collaborate closely with care teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinical staff
  • Support after-hours on-call coverage on a rotating basis
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation, billing compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to workflow improvements and patient engagement strategies
Additional Details
  • Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem options available
  • Productivity expectation of 8.5–10 patients per 4-hour session
  • Rotating after-hours physician call schedule required
  • Multiple approved clinical service locations within the Pomona area


Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted California Physician License
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine (required)
  • Active DEA License
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA approved)
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Strong clinical judgment across acute and chronic care management
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred
