JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for a range of activities including loading, unloading, sorting, picking, storing, distribution, and inventory management of goods in a warehouse setting. This role is integral to the smooth operation of storage and delivery functions. The warehouse worker is the first point of contact for warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate handling of merchandise and products.Â

Essential Job Functions:
- Loads and unloads goods from delivery vans or other vehicles.
- Checks and inspects goods received and ensure they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality.
- Picks, packs, and labels outgoing orders.
- Maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepares regular inventory reports for the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- Uses warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks to transfer goods to storage areas.
- Makes sure warehouse space is utilized effectively.
- Ensures safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Keeps the warehouse clean and organized.
- Adheres to all health and safety protocols in the warehouse.
- Must follow safety procedures to prevent injuries. This includes wearing protective gear, using tools properly, and following other safety guidelines.Â

Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Possession of relevant licenses and certifications, as required by law. I.e., Forklift operator.

 Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience in related warehouse work required.Â

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Prolong periods bending, kneeling, pulling, standing, and pushing.
- Work may be performed outside in high/low temperature.
- Some degree of flexibility with working hours may be required depending on workload.
