Certified Medication Assistant


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support the safe administration of medications and assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders

- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to charge nurse

- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and patient responses

- Assist with patient assessments and provide basic health education under supervision

- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with safety standards

- Collaborate with nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care

- Follow all infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff


Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) certification 

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training preferred

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with good communication skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team

- Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care standards
