Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Ponca City, OK 74601Position Type: Full TimeMaterial Handler Job Description Department: Layout Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Hourly Reports To: Manager Layout Location: Ponca City, OK Amount of Travel Required: N/A Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.              Positions Supervised: N/A  POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for placing incoming orders on shelves, monitoring inventory, and ensuring efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.") Maintain accurate inventory records. Receive and store raw material. Safely operate equipment required in these operations. Correct any inventory inaccuracies discovered when pulling material. Conduct physical inventory cycle counts and location audits to determine the accuracy of inventory balances. Pull raw material from stock and deliver to the required department. Stock received material and provide part location information to be entered into the computer records. Performs other duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.  QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). In-person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate. Experience in a manufacturing environment not required, but highly desirable.  QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES Ability to operate a forklift. Be detail oriented. Reliable and willing to work on weekends if needed.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (long-sleeve shirt/jeans, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies.
