Job DetailsJob Location: Main Site PC - Ponca City, OK 74601Salary Range: $14.00 - $16.00PHILOSOPHY OF SERVICES ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: This job carries with it the obligation to respect the dignity and recognize the potential for growth of every individual who receives or provides services and supports, to advocate for the rights of the people we support to pursue their own vision, and to be responsible stewards of our human and financial resources in order to create an environment committed to quality.  A commitment to this philosophy of services should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.   JOB SUMMARY: Assists with supervising the operations of the Residential Services Program while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.  Responsibilities include monitoring and training of staff, compliance with night time bed checks, handling any behavioral incidents and record documentation of persons served as well as staff issues on night shift. Also responsible for conducting the QA monitoring and reporting for third shift.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure that meal prep items are pulled and done for the following day of service. Ensure that cleaning is being properly scheduled and completed and that staff is washing clothing items. Train staff on the client PIP’s, Orientation and General Staff Behavior items for the weekend shift. Monitor all homes on a random schedule. Physically visit remote sites when needed.  Performs duties of on-site supervisor with the authority to reassign staff and deal with emergencies. Maintains documentation regarding staff and assists House Managers with performance appraisal input. Assists the Program Coordinators with staff scheduling. Fill-in for weekend shift staff in emergency situations. Records staff call-ins and client behavioral issues. Ensures that incident reports are filled out correctly, filing is completed and any other required paperwork is done. Represents the weekend shift staff interests. Quality Assurance monitoring and reporting for the weekend shift. Must speak English language only while clients are present. Must drive SCL approved/assigned vehicle.  Must be trained on all client specific training, MAT, MOPI, CPR, and other training as assigned. Other duties as assigned.    QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of Company policies and procedures. Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Knowledge of medication administrative guidelines. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills. Skill in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Skill in administering CPR and basic first aid. Skill in supervising and training staff in a positive manner. Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to read, write, and maintain records. Ability to read and understand regulatory requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate about sensitive situations. Ability to stoop, kneel, and lift to complete assigned tasks. Ability to work irregular hours, including overnight stays when required. Ability to use computer and telephone. Ability to maintain a patient and positive attitude. Ability to perform at least medium work (a strength factor involving ability to lift and/or exert 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects). Ability to work independently, yet participate, give constructive feedback, and accept feedback in a team approach and consultative approach to training and service delivery. Ability to drive. Ability to work in a team environment.
