Job Title: Packer                                          FLSA Status: Hourly                                           Department: Operations
SUMMARY: The Packer plays a key role in the Operations Department by efficiently and accurately packaging protein products in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. This position involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail, adherence to food safety regulations, and commitment to product quality are essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place product into primary packaging
- Inspecting packages, marking and label product
- Set up and maintain work area
- Utilizing TI screens
- Equipment usage to label product
- Pack product by specifications
- Work with team members to ensure maximum productivity
- Communication and responsibility for reporting any food safety and food quality related issues to Lead, Supervisor or Management
- Follow the company’s GMP policy
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe work area
- Follow safe work practices including wearing all required PPE in designated areas
- Work weekends and flexible hours
- Perform other duties assigned
