DSI is looking for their next dynamic Customer Service Representative to join their team in the Ponte Vedra, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry, as well as exceptional phone, verbal,written, and interpersonal skills. If the below job sounds like a match, we would love to get to know you!  Position Summary: Primarily responsible for communicating over phone, email and chat, and supporting various back office or administrative activities for sales, service, and management personnel as needed.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answers incoming telephone calls, emails, and chats in a clear and professional manner. Ensures that a friendly and attentive approach is being practiced with an environment that projects a professional, polished, and service-oriented image to all clients. Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability. Provide client quotes. Correspond with specific carriers on company memos and process any necessary updates as directed by the Account Manager. Research payment and billing issues, direct cancellations/expirations to Account Manager. Follow up on notices of non-payment per agency procedures and notify producer of cancelled/expired policies for rewrite. Pull policy correspondence from carrier websites and distribute to appropriate personnel. Inform account managers and/or producers of all important activities on their accounts. Process claims notices- follow up with clients via email and letters as per agency claims procedures. Participate with management and other departments/personnel on special projects and other duties as needed. Update monthly expiration and cancellation reports. Process flood renewals in agency management system Assistant with Agency Management System data clean up QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: 1-2 years in customer service or administration Experience in insurance industry Active DOI license or ability to obtain license within first 90 days of employment Experience with AMS or similar agency management system a plus. Solid computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet).
