Position Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and play a critical role in supporting the growth of our North American business and dealer network. This role requires a proactive, results-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong "hunter" mentality, consistently identifying and engaging top talent through industry networking, relationship-building, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

 

A minimum of five (5) years of recruiting experience within the Construction Equipment and/or Agricultural Equipment industry is required. This experience is essential to understanding the unique talent markets, skill sets, dealer structures, competitive landscape, and workforce challenges that directly impact hiring success within our industry.

 

The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven recruiter with a well-established industry network, proven full-cycle recruiting expertise, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for building high-performing teams that drive business growth, dealer success, and exceptional customer outcomes. This individual will partner closely with Dealer Principals, hiring leaders, and internal stakeholders to develop talent pipelines that support both current and future workforce needs across the JCB dealer organization.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrates a proactive "hunter" mentality, identifying and engaging top talent through strategic sourcing, networking, and relationship-building rather than relying solely on active applicants.
  • Acts with urgency to identify, engage, and secure top talent in competitive markets while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for our dealer network across North America, including service, parts, sales, and leadership.
  • Promote JCB's employer brand within the construction and agricultural equipment industries.
  • Utilize market intelligence and industry knowledge to advise stakeholders on talent acquisition strategies and workforce trends.
  • Utilize sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dayforce, referrals, and industry networking) to identify and attract top industry talent.
  • Maintain active ‘silver medallist’ candidate pipelines for our North America market within our Sales, Service and Dealer Development teams.
  • Create and manage job postings tailored to target audiences and industry-specific talent pools.
  • Ensure all postings reflect JCB's employer branding and Employer of Choice initiatives.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, industry experience, and organizational fit.
  • Coordinate interviews with leaders, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage communication throughout the recruiting process to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Ensure interview feedback is captured and processed efficiently.
  • Foster proactive communication with candidates throughout each stage of the hiring process.
  • Provide weekly recruiting updates, pipeline metrics, and market insights to the Recruiting Manager.
  • Represent JCB at hiring events, trade shows, networking events, technical schools, and industry-related recruiting initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with industry associations, workforce development partners, and educational institutions to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for deal development focused recruiting activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of recruiting experience within the Construction Equipment and/or Agricultural Equipment industry (required).
  • Proven experience recruiting for sales, service, and leadership positions.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions and talent pipelines simultaneously.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed recruiting goals and hiring metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques, talent mapping, databases, and internet search methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, recruiting platforms, and HR systems.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support dealership recruiting initiatives and industry events.
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies within dealer network, manufacturing, construction equipment, or agricultural equipment environments.
  • Established professional network within the construction equipment, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or dealership industries.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning and succession initiatives.
  • Desire to grow professionally through continuous learning, networking, and industry engagement.
