WhatĀ You’llĀ Do in This Position:Ā 

  • Support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communitiesĀ 

  • Help individuals access community resources andĀ participateĀ in social activitiesĀ 

  • Provide transportation for appointments, shopping, and community outingsĀ 

  • Teach independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and money managementĀ 

  • AssistĀ with daily living needs, including personal care and hygieneĀ 

  • Document client progress, achievements, and milestonesĀ 

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team membersĀ 

  • FollowĀ each individual’sĀ Individual Support Plan (ISP)Ā 

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessionsĀ 

  • Perform other duties as assignedĀ

QualificationsĀ 

  • High school diploma or equivalentĀ 

  • Strong communicationĀ and interpersonal skillsĀ 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a teamĀ 

  • Basic computer skillsĀ 

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)Ā 

  • Ability to pass a background checkĀ 

Work EnvironmentĀ 

  • Work primarily in clients’ homes and community settingsĀ 

  • Some travelĀ requiredĀ 

  • May involve lifting or moving up to 50 poundsĀ 

  • Work in a variety of environments, including homes, public spaces, and outdoorsĀ 

  • Must be able to work varying shifts, including weekendsĀ
