WhatĀ YouāllĀ Do in This Position:Ā
Support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communitiesĀ
Help individuals access community resources andĀ participateĀ in social activitiesĀ
Provide transportation for appointments, shopping, and community outingsĀ
Teach independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and money managementĀ
AssistĀ with daily living needs, including personal care and hygieneĀ
Document client progress, achievements, and milestonesĀ
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team membersĀ
FollowĀ each individualāsĀ Individual Support Plan (ISP)Ā
Participate in team meetings and training sessionsĀ
Perform other duties as assignedĀ

QualificationsĀ
High school diploma or equivalentĀ
Strong communicationĀ and interpersonal skillsĀ
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamĀ
Basic computer skillsĀ
Reliable transportation and valid driverās license (if applicable)Ā
Ability to pass a background checkĀ
Work EnvironmentĀ
Work primarily in clientsā homes and community settingsĀ
Some travelĀ requiredĀ
May involve lifting or moving up to 50 poundsĀ
Work in a variety of environments, including homes, public spaces, and outdoorsĀ
