Lead classroom discussions using ODEPās soft skills curriculumĀ
Prepare necessary plans, reports, and paperwork to ensure a successful programĀ

Key Responsibilities:Ā
Coordinate studentsā work-based learning experiences within the Pre-Employment Training - Work Experience Program with VRĀ
Facilitate on-site support for students working a total of 16 hours atĀ identifiedĀ worksite(s) over four days each week, targeting 4 hours worked per dayĀ
Incorporate four hours of soft skills training per week and review/discuss on-site experiences during each 20-hour week of the programĀ
Support studentsā full integration into the worksite and mediate between co-workers and supervisors as necessaryĀ
Prepare plans, reports, and other paperwork as neededĀ
Obtain information about students through the intake process, including meetings with students, families, VR Counselors, and school personnelĀ
Coordinate studentsā new hire paperwork, orientation, and weekly timesheetsĀ
Transport students to and from the worksite as neededĀ
Report worksite outcomes and relevant informationĀ regardingĀ student progress to Leadership and/or referral sources asĀ requiredĀ
Ā
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:Ā
High School Diploma or GEDĀ requiredĀ
Preferably has experience in employment services, job coaching, business, sales, human resources, or human servicesĀ
Ā
Additional Qualifications:Ā
Current driverās license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insuranceĀ
Must have andĀ maintainĀ certification in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne PathogensĀ
Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checksĀ

Physical Requirements:Ā
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of forceĀ frequentlyĀ to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human bodyĀ
Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shiftsĀ
