Position Title:   Shipper/Receiver III; Spotter - Nights 5PM-1:30AM                

The Shipper/Receiver III – Spotter position is responsible for managing the movement of trailers across lots. This position is also responsible for operating industrial forklift trucks to perform material movement assignments. 

Responsibilities:

  • “Spots” designated trailer(s) from trailer lot to assigned dock door or from dock door to trailer lot        

  • Ensures that all trailer wheels are chocked   

  • Maintains daily equipment condition report 

  • Maintains a clean parking/docking area in accordance with standards

  • Maintain driver maintenance of vehicle        

  • Ensure trailers are in adequate operational condition

  • Maintain a valid CDL license

  • Track and audit trailer inventory

  • Operate forklift to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks
