If you’re the type of person who loves fixing things, figuring out how stuff works, and isn’t afraid to get your hands dirty — keep reading.
At York Building Products, we’ve been building the backbone of the East Coast for more than 85 years. Roads, bridges, communities — we help make it all happen. But behind every successful operation is a team of skilled people who keep the equipment running strong.
That’s where YOU come in.
We’re searching for a hands-on, mechanically minded Millwright who’s ready to weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, and conquer mechanical challenges in a fast-paced industrial environment.
If hearing “something doesn’t sound right” makes you immediately grab your tools… you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing
Every day brings something different — and that’s part of the fun.
You’ll:
- Weld pipe and fabricate mechanical componentsÂ
- Repair and maintain conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and industrial machineryÂ
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues like a proÂ
- Operate hand tools, power tools, torches, and heavy equipmentÂ
- Work with manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loadersÂ
- Handle preventative maintenance, greasing, oil changes, inspections, and repairsÂ
- Help keep production running safely and efficientlyÂ
- Work indoors, outdoors, at ground level, and occasionally high in the airÂ
This is not a desk job — this is a get-things-done job.
