Nurse Assistant- Restorative Aide

Position Summary: 

Collaborates closely the Clinical Manager and the Restorative Nurse Coordinator to ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, and documentation of Restorative Nursing Programs, including but not limited to:
 

Responsibilities:

·         Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. 

·         Performing and assisting with passive and active range of motion exercises.

·         Managing and documenting splint, brace, cast, and wheelchair positioning programs.

·         Supporting and guiding bed mobility training and practice.

·         Facilitating participation in the restorative walking program.

·         Initiating Bowel and Bladder assessments in accordance with care protocols.

·         Conducting falls risk assessments in collaboration with the Restorative Nurse.

·         Initiating, reviewing, and updating Restorative Care Plans based on patient needs and progress.

·         Carrying out additional restorative nursing programs as assigned by the Restorative.

Required:

Current State Certified Nursing Assistant.

High School Diploma/GED
