About the Role:

The Inspector I plays a critical role in ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality and safety standards within the organization. This position involves conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects or deviations, and documenting findings to support continuous improvement efforts. The Inspector I collaborates closely with production teams and quality assurance personnel to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. By performing thorough evaluations and reporting accurately, this role helps prevent defective products from reaching customers, thereby protecting the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Inspector I contributes to the overall operational excellence by upholding high standards of quality and safety throughout the manufacturing or service process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using standard inspection tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Certification in quality inspection or related fields (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities:
