Job Description:

Summary:Ā 

Clover Park, the spring training home of the New York Mets, is seeking dedicated and professional Security Specialiststo join our Public Safety team. Security Specialists play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, players, and property. This position involves providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible and proactive security presence throughout the ballpark and surrounding facilities.Ā

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to maintain a safe environmentĀ 

  • Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, including seating, concourses, parking lots, and team facilitiesĀ 

  • Enforce stadium rules, regulations, and policies in a professional and customer-focused mannerĀ 

  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies according to established proceduresĀ 

  • Assist with crowd management during games, practices, and special eventsĀ 

  • Provide information and assistance to guests, staff, and vendorsĀ 

  • Document security activity, incidents, and observations in daily reportsĀ 

  • Work cooperatively with local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other public safety partnersĀ 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or managementĀ

QualificationsĀ 

  • High school diploma or GED requiredĀ 

  • Valid Florida Class ā€œDā€ Security Officer License (or ability to obtain before start date)Ā 

  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not requiredĀ 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionallyĀ 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsĀ 

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during events and baseball seasonĀ 

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a teamĀ
