The Newport Healthcare family of programs includes residential and outpatient locations nationwide, as well as inpatient hospitalization and clinic services through our PrairieCare division in Minnesota.

What You鈥檒l Do:

路 Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.

路 Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.

路 Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.

路 Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.

路 Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.

路 Collaborating with BHS regarding medication management and refills.

路 Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.


What Makes You a Great Fit

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 路 Education:聽Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree;

    路 Licensure:聽Current RN licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing is a must.

  • 路 Experience:聽Ideally, you bring previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents and/or young adults

  • 路 Communication Skills:聽Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high-pressure scenarios.

  • 路 Team Player:聽A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment.

  • 路 Tech-Savvy:聽Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
