Now Hiring: CBRF Caregiver

Open Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 3.5 days per week | Every other weekend required

High Point Residence Port Washington is seeking a compassionate and dependable CBRF Caregiver to join our team. This role is an important part of supporting our residents’ daily care, comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

About the Role

As a CBRF Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to residents while helping maintain a warm, safe, and respectful environment. You will work closely with the care team to follow individualized care plans and ensure residents receive the support they need each day.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Administer medications and treatments as directed and within CBRF guidelines
• Monitor and document changes in residents’ health, behavior, and daily needs
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s with patience and compassion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CBRF certification required
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Experience in a CBRF or senior living setting preferred
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude
