JOB OVERVIEW:  

Role Summary: The "Engine Room" of the department. You are responsible for the daily lifecycle of shipments for a diverse portfolio of small-to-mid-sized shippers. You bridge the gap between our assets (trucks/drivers) and the customer’s immediate needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily Execution: Manage the full "load-to-invoice" lifecycle, ensuring all data in the TMS is accurate and real-time. 
  • Proactive Communication: Identify potential delays (port congestion, equipment shortages) and alert customers with solutions before they ask. 
  • Issue Resolution: Handle OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) claims, service failures, and billing discrepancies with a sense of urgency. 
  • Growth: Identify "spot quote" opportunities within existing accounts to increase weekly load counts and drive positive Net Revenue Retention 

Background Required:  

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a customer-facing role (logistics, 3PL, or high-volume dispatch preferred). 
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred. 
  • Technical Skills:  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for tracking, Outlook for high-volume email). 
  • Basic familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). 
  • Understanding of basic freight terminology (LTL, FTL, Drayage). 

Background Preferred (but not required):  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree   
  • Proven track record of growing and scaling customer accounts in logistics operations 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers and strategic partners as needed 
  • Experience developing, implementing, and leveraging KPIs to drive customer performance and growth

WORK ENVIRONMENT:???  

Work is?generally performed in an office setting; however, being in warehouses, trucks, and yards are not infrequent. The noise level is moderate.?Generally, well?ventilated, and well lit. Team members may?be required?to wear protective clothing. Additionally, may?operate?heavy equipment and strict safety regulations may be required.???? 

PHYSICAL EFFORT:???  

Work is physically strenuous, and team members?are required to?lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Work may require excessive?bending?or stooping. Team members may?be required?to climb ladders, use hand tools, and/or use heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.).
