Senior Manager MP&L

Role Summary

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.  In this role the incumbent is responsible for developing proposals and executing materials planning and logistics programs in all Cluster production and administrative processes. This position can be based from one of our plants in Portage MI or Dunlap, TN.

Main Tasks

Supporting planning and scheduling teams to improve production accuracy ensuring schedule adherence
Standardizing and documenting the scheduling and planning process in plants
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Developing and optimizing process governance for all supply chain processes in the plant
Acting as a support group for any plant’s day-to-day performance recovery
Focusing on training and skill development for plant MP&L capabilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in process governance and support across different departments or business units
Conducting regular audits and assessments to evaluate the adherence and the effectiveness of process governance
Supporting and governing the PP, MM, SD and WM modules in SAP for the region
Supporting supervision of overall inventory control, order processing, warehouse activities, transportation, maintenance and customer service
Manage other functional process managers in designing/improving, and supporting manufacturing planning processes in the plants
Lead and develop each manufacturing location MP/L managers to achieve the corporate strategy and KPI’s.

Skills

Your Profile

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred

Experience:

• 8 years in industrial manufacturing
• 3 years in MP&L manufacturing leadership
• ERP experience, SAP strongly preferred
• Regional experience preferred
