Delta Workforce is looking to hire an Operations Manager for a plastic mold injection shop in Portgage MI!

Summary:

Lead daily manufacturing operations by overseeing production, quality, staffing, and continuous improvement to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and delivered on time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Oversee daily production operations, staffing, and workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
Manage production and quality teams, providing leadership, coaching, and support to drive performance and accountability.
Monitor production metrics, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, shipping, and customer service to resolve production challenges and support customer needs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies while maintaining a clean and efficient manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Prior experience in Plastic Injection Molding, including mold changes, hydraulics, and electrical
Education to support mold set-ups and troubleshooting
Computer skills, including machine control
Skills to perform process parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
