Certified Nursing Assistant – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am, varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. Â
We are an accredited comprehensive stroke center and epilepsy unit. Â This specialized unit cares for post-operative neurosurgery and EMU patients. Â Patients on this unit may have received a hyperacute intervention such as endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) or thrombolysis. Â Stroke patients generally stay in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and family-centered and evidence-based stroke care.Â

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
