The Boeing Company’s Learning and Development (L&D) organization is currently seeking an Executive Programs and Experiences Senior Manager to join their team. This role leads the development and execution of executive programs and experiences to support continued leadership development.  This role will drive the implementation of the global strategy for executive leadership capability and skills development by designing, facilitating, and evaluating programs and experiences that ensure executives are equipped to lead at Boeing.   The selected candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions

This opportunity can be based in Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Portland, OR; Mesa, AZ or San Antonio, TX.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • ​ Lead the design and development of executive cohort programs and experiences that align with Boeing's leadership development strategy and objectives

  • Create and curate engaging and impactful curriculum that addresses the specific needs and challenges faced by executives, ensuring relevance and applicability

  • Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of executive programs, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement

  • Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure programs meet the needs of the organization and its executives

  • Identify key leadership competencies and skills required for success at Boeing, integrating these into program design and delivery

  • Create opportunities for executives to network and share experiences, fostering a collaborative learning environment

  • Manage resources effectively, including budgets, materials, and external vendors, to ensure successful program execution

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in executive development, incorporating innovative approaches into program design

  • Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and impact on senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives

  • Provide mentorship and support to program participants, helping them apply learning to their leadership roles and navigate organizational challenges

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational design, learning and development, or related roles

  • 5+ years of experience delivering training to executives, managers and employees

  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with Human Resources and other stakeholders

  • 5+ years of facilitation experience

  • 3+ years of experience leading direct reports

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Leadership, Learning & Development, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Experience in analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for program development
