About The Position

 We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position in Oregon. This 20-day assignment starts on 06/16/2025, and requires expertise in managing a diverse range of patients and conditions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating cough/flu, allergies, conducting medication check-ins, performing physicals, managing chronic illnesses, and seeing patients of all ages from children to seniors. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Responsibilities include timely charting, seeing all scheduled patients, proper prescribing, providing at-home treatment recommendations, and collaborating effectively with staff members. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Treat a variety of conditions including cough/flu, allergies, and chronic illnesses

• Conduct medication check-ins and physical examinations

• Provide care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors

• Ensure timely and accurate charting

• See all scheduled patients

• Prescribe medications appropriately

• Offer at-home treatment recommendations

• Collaborate effectively with all staff members

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Oregon

• Experience with Athenahealth EHR system preferred

• Strong communication and time management skills required

• Ability to adapt to new clinical environments
