WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Seeking helicopters pilots with CH47D Pilot In Command experience in fire and construction operations for full-time employment. Applicants should be willing to work in the USA and overseas fire assignments. The position will cover all pilot operations for our CH47D aircraft. The aircraft is contracted with the DOI and USFS for fire suppression work.

Job Duties: 

  • flight and operational planning
  • weight and balance data
  • fuel management
  • accurate tracking of duty, flight and maintenance times
  • compliance with all FAR and Company policies
  • customer service functions.

Requirements:

  • Commercial rotorcraft helicopter license
  • Current 2nd class medical
  • Current driver license with clean driving record
  • 2500 hours RW PIC of which 250 hours in BV234/CH47D Chinook required
  • Security background check may be required
  • Aviation knowledge is required
  • Applicant must be previously interagency carded in CH47D/BV234


Preferred Experiences and Qualifcations:

  • Previous vertical reference experience
  • Firefighting and / or utility experience
  • Current interagency card
  • Instrument rating
  • Low Level & Recon experience
  • Mountain Terrain experience
  • Ext. Load >100’ Longline VTR experience
  • Water/Retardant, Bucket experience
  • Previous NVG experience
