About the Role:
Senior Helpers of Portland/Vancouver is looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver-Driver to join our dedicated team in Vancouver, WA. This rewarding role combines hands-on personal care with safe, reliable transportation to help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate in-home personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors and their families
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation for each client visit
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to senior care best practices
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance
- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
