Sonic Summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room department with a pay range of $27.49 to $39.80 per hour.
Candidates should have completed a Certified Surgical Tech program or hold a current New York State LPN license, along with an approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience.
Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment in a clinical operating room setting is required, with OR experience preferred.
Applicants must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and be willing to fulfill continuing education requirements of 15 CEUs per year.

Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible
Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications exam.
Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting.
OR experience preferred
Desire to work within an Operating Room setting.
BLS required.
Continuing education requirements of 15 CEU's per year.
