Job DetailsJob Location: PORTLAND, OR 97229Cornel’s is a locally owned, home services company in the Portland metro area.  We specialize in residential plumbing and HVAC services, delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are now looking to add an electrical department to our team.  Cornel’s is built on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous growth. Full-time, set weekday schedule.   Responsibilities Perform electrical service, repairs, and installations for residential jobs (running circuits, lighting, panels, and code-compliant upgrades). Inspect, repair, upgrade, and replace electrical panels and service equipment. Conduct comprehensive electrical inspections for safety and code compliance in residential homes, identifying issues like outdated panels, wiring problems, and grounding deficiencies. Diagnose electrical problems using multimeters and appropriate tools.   Excellent communication with customers. Ensure all work strictly complies with current Oregon electrical codes and PDX Electric's high standards for safety, quality, and professionalism. Maintain clean, organized job sites; provide excellent customer service; accurately document work performed; and support our commitment to transparent, upfront communication with every customer. Support other departments on their jobs requiring electrical support. Qualifications Valid driver’s license Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License 5 years of residential electrical experience Solid knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, panels, and current Oregon electrical codes Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Excellent internal and external communication
