Shipping/Forklift Driver

 

Pay Rate:

$32.24/hr*

*shift differentials available

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (Four 12-hour days per week)

Must be flexible to work any shift:

A Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM

B Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

C Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM for 2 days, 24-hr break then 7 PM to 7 AM for 2 days

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Understands and demonstrates knowledge in all systems required in shipping role
  • Works with customer service to insure proper delivery of product to customer
  • Perform other duties as specified by the clerk, foreman or supervisor
  • Operating PIT (powered industrial truck) experience-at least 1 year
  • Safely perform all work related tasks
  • Pull pallets off of main line stacking units in the warehouse
  • Operate VMU computer screen for product selection of units being handled
  • Operate RF (radio frequency) scanner for picking and locating units
  • Loading and unloading 53' dry curtain vans and containers
  • Daily load planning and working with team members
  • Timely completion of all required paperwork
  • Understands and demonstrates proficiency in Head Loader, Line Puller, Pallet Runner and Outside Warehouse positions

  • Counting and stacking finished product and pallets
  • Read and fill plant orders
  • Ability to work well with others and on a team
