ICF is seeking an IT Business Analyst to work within a dynamic and innovative team environment in our Utility Program and Services Group. The IT Business Analyst will support tasks within the software configuration cycle and be responsible for system data integration with the business intelligence it provides. This position supports project delivery on IT projects for the energy efficiency and utility sectors and will contribute to a team that brings high-quality products and innovative solutions to our clients.Â

What you will be doing:
- Support all aspects of the software configuration cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting toolsÂ
- Communicate regularly and effectively with team members as to the status of various tasks, including presenting during status update meetingsÂ
- Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define the system requirements and assist in identifying the best design approachÂ
- Generate requirements specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentationÂ
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activitiesÂ
- Enter & track support requests ensuring their completionÂ
- Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and help identify improvements relative to technology Â
- Understand the capabilities and application of ICF’s IT systems to deliver solutions for clientsÂ
- Train users on IT systems and assist in troubleshooting issues Â
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience supporting business analysis, IT systems, or software development projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, and developing system documentation such as requirements, use cases, process flows, or test scripts or related work experienceÂ
What we would like you to have:
- Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plusÂ
- Experience with issue tracking and document management tools such as JIRA and SharePointÂ
- Understanding of relational databasesÂ
Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and organizational skillsÂ
- Demonstrated consulting experience with emphasis on customer serviceÂ
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlinesÂ
- Excellent verbal, written, and consulting skills Â
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in MS Office products, including Excel, Visio, Teams and PowerPointÂ

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
