Maintenance Technician

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Bluestone Real Estate Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment and commercial properties. If you have a solid maintenance foundation, a strong work ethic, and enjoy seeing the results of a job well done, we’d like to meet you.

This position will require travel throughout the East side of Portland. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with on-call rotation every 6-8 weeks (approximately).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Complete general apartment and property maintenance work.
• Handle apartment turns and same-day maintenance needs or emergencies during scheduled work hours.
• Perform repairs that may include drywall, plumbing, minor electrical, and appliance repair based on your experience.
• Travel between assigned properties and provide dependable, responsive maintenance support.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and promptly communicate concerns or needed follow-up.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Provide friendly, professional service while helping us create a great experience for our residents.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• At least 2 years of residential or property management maintenance experience.
• A self-starter mentality and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• General maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with drywall, plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and appliance repair is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• A commitment to safety, quality work, and excellent resident service.
• Reliable transportation and your own maintenance tools.
