The Role

Join the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) Salon as a Nail Technician, where you'll provide high-quality nail services in a vibrant and supportive environment. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with both MAC members and non-members, offering your expertise while enjoying the perks of club access and a competitive commission rate.

This is a commission-based, part-time, on-site position at our club in Portland, OR. We are looking for stylists available Sunday 7am-7pm, Monday, 7am-3:30pm, Tuesdays 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, and Saturday 3pm-7pm.

What You’ll Do

• Perform a variety of nail services, including basic manicures, gel manicures, builder gel manicures, nail repair, polish changes, gel removal, and nail art.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, strictly adhering to sanitation protocols for all tools and surfaces.
• Stay updated on the latest nail trends and customize them to meet client preferences.
• Capture and share before and after pictures of your work for social media promotion.
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with MAC’s SHINE standards.
• Collaborate with salon staff to ensure a harmonious and efficient work environment.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum 3 years of Nail Technician experience.
• A valid Nail Technician license with proficiency in various nail services.
• A detail-oriented approach with the ability to produce high-quality, precise work.
• Strong communication skills to understand and fulfill client needs.
• The ability to manage your schedule effectively and maintain punctuality.
• A motivated and creative mindset, with a passion for staying on top of industry trends.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe salon environment.
• Morning and daytime availability.
• Preferred, but not required, experience: Soft gel, builder gel, hard gel, and Gel-X expertise (no acrylic), existing clientele, Instagram and TikTok presence.
