The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health (SPH) is aligned with the American Public Health Association in declaring racism a public health crisis, and our School is committed to becoming an antiracist SPH. We are working to center social justice in our internal and external work as a school and are committed to addressing structural and institutional racism, and to holding ourselves accountable to this work.Function/Duties of Position
- Schedule, organize and coordinate a Fall consensus building exercise for GreenME WP5 stakeholders, including recruitment of patient representatives and an EOCCO team member.
- Document WP5 activities in a template provided by the GreenME (German team) in preparation for submission to the European Commission.
- Attend online GreenME meetings with international collaborators to fully understand the WP5 requirements and coordinate our activities with the WP5 leaders (German team).
- Create a GIS class exercise using GreenME data from WP4 activities.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in and Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).
Report writing experience.
Prior coordination or organization group activities.
General understanding of research on green spaces, green care, and planetary health.
Managing multiple stakeholders; organizing agenda for expert workshop.
Qualitative research skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Has taken MPH-level Environmental Health classes.
- MPH-level GIS classes.
- R coding experience.
- Online group workshop facilitation experience (e.g., via Zoom).
- GIS analysis and mapping skills (can be improved on the job).
Additional Details
Flexible desk-based working conditions. Uses own laptop and desk setup. Weekly meeting online or in-person to check-in with supervisor but can switch to fortnightly, if requested one week in advance.
