We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon with expertise in Mohs repair to join our team. We are a growing privately own practice located in Oregon and Washington states.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reconstructive surgeries on patients who have undergone Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent surgical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.


Responsibilities:

- Perform reconstructive surgeries on patients who have undergone Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal

- Evaluate patients' medical histories and conduct physical examinations to determine the appropriate surgical approach

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dermatologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients

- Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, potential risks, and expected outcomes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including surgical notes and post-operative care instructions

- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in plastic surgery and Mohs repair techniques

Requirements

 

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Plastic Surgery

- Fellowship training in Mohs repair or extensive experience in reconstructive surgery following Mohs micrographic surgery

- Strong surgical skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures beyond Mohs repair

- Active participation in professional organizations and conferences related to plastic surgery and Mohs repair

- A track record of research and publications in the field of plastic surgery and Mohs repair
