Groundworks Services is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to support our production team by maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workspace. This role focuses on sanitation, organization, and supporting production through consistent execution of cleaning and operational tasks.
Hours:Â This position is Full Time.Â
What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and workspace
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production facility
- Support packaging and inventory processes, including stickering, boxing, and counting
What You Bring
- Some kitchen, food production, or similar hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage regulated inventory with accuracy
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency
- Experience in cannabis, food, or beverage production preferred
- Current Food Handler's Card required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid OLCC Marijuana Handler's Permit
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods in a production environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs multiple times daily
- Comfort working on hard-surface floors and around production equipment
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment with noise and activity
- Ability to wear required PPE, including gloves, masks, and safety glasses
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods as needed
