Sanitation Technician - Day Shift

Location: Portland, OR | DAY Shifts | Starting Pay: $18.50/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Execute daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing, wiping down, and vacuuming equipment and facilities.
• Operate tools like pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and more to keep our plant spotless.
• Dismantle equipment as needed to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.
• Follow all Sanitary Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely sanitation records.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to safely handle caustic and sanitary chemicals.
• Forklift and scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong team collaboration skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in damp, hot, or confined spaces.
• A focus on attendance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Availability for weekends and three weekdays.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
• Candidates must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English or Spanish. Being bilingual in both languages is a plus
