Your Opportunity

Stantec’s Aviation group is looking for a Senior Airport Electrical Engineer/Manager to join our practice in the Portland, Marine office! We are seeking a Senior Airport Electrical Engineer/Manager to be a senior contributor on our professional consulting services team. This individual will actively participate in the development of proposals and marketing materials using your specialized knowledge of electrical systems, FAA and Military (UFC) airfield lighting design criteria, and industry standards. As a strong leader, the chosen candidate will be leading and mentoring others as well as collaborating with stakeholders in the development of top tier project deliverables. At Stantec, we value a hybrid work environment that combines in-person collaboration with remote flexibility. As a people leader you will be expected to be in the office, on average, three days a week. 

What Will You Be Doing? 

As a Senior Airport Electrical Engineer/Manager, you will work collaboratively on the design of projects of various complexity and act as a subject matter expert providing technical advice and guidance to other team members, particularly as it relates to airfield electrical design and airport navigational aids.

The Stantec Transportation group provides services to both private and public sector clients.  While you will be focusing on work in Maine and the Northeast, the successful candidate will also have opportunities to collaborate with our other teams across the United States and in Canada and support their project needs as opportunities arise.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
