Compensation: $21.37 per hour + additional shift differential if applicable

Shift: Multiple Shifts - overtime as needed

Position Summary

While reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for performing the tasks necessary to support a high-quality, efficient, and timely operation within the Shipping and Receiving Department. This role requires learning and managing both raw material and finished goods inventory throughout the plant. Excellent attendance is essential to the success of the team and overall operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work effectively with various teams across the organization. A keen eye for identifying defects during the shipping and receiving process is critical. You will take pride in your hands-on and analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and promptly report any mechanical or electrical issues to ensure equipment remains in safe working condition.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers while ensuring all products are handled properly to prevent damage.
  • Verify product tags, labels, markings, and shipment documentation to ensure accuracy prior to shipment or receipt.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including labels and Certificates of Analysis (C of A), for customer orders.
  • Transport materials between the plant, warehouse, and designated storage locations to support production and shipping requirements.
  • Process shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and maintain inventory transaction records within company systems.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, including inventory counts, stock verification, organization, and storage of materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established housekeeping standards.
  • Support the on-time delivery of products while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to complete shipping documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the role.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred

  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift and/or clamp truck operating experience.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation, labeling, and Certificates of Analysis (C of A).
  • Experience using inventory, warehouse, or ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize work effectively.
