Job Description
The Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and growing Sightline's most important technology and commercial partnerships. Success in this role means turning complementary technologies into integrated solutions that help us win more business than either company could independently.
Every partnership will be different. Some may focus on technical integration, while others require new commercial models including resale, OEM, licensing, joint business development, or bundled offerings. This role owns the strategy, relationship, and execution needed to make those partnerships successful.
- Own executive and working-level relationships with strategic technology partners.Â
- Develop partnership strategies that create measurable commercial value for both companies.Â
- Design commercial models including resale, OEM, referral, licensing, bundled offerings, revenue sharing, and other partnership structures.Â
- Identify and drive joint business development opportunities, capture strategies, and customer engagements.Â
- Coordinate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure technical integrations align with commercial objectives.Â
- Influence partner product roadmaps and internal Sightline priorities to maximize joint success.Â
- Lead partner onboarding, product training, and ongoing enablement for both organizations.Â
- Coordinate joint marketing activities, events, demonstrations, and customer engagements where appropriate.Â
- Establish executive business reviews, success metrics, and growth plans for each strategic partner.Â
- Serve as the internal quarterback across Sales, BD, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, and Production to ensure partnerships execute successfully.
Success Looks Like:
- Strong executive relationships with key strategic partners.
- Repeatable commercial partnership models that accelerate revenue growth.
- Joint pipeline and bookings that would not exist without the partnership.
- Successful technical integrations that translate into customer wins.
- Partners that view Sightline as a preferred long-term technology and business partner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong commercial instincts with ability to structure creative partnership models.
- Ability to influence across engineering, product, sales, and executive teams.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new partnership playbooks from the ground up.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to partner sites and customer engagements.
- Experience using an ERP or CRM system, NetSuite preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
